Our services
include:
- Analyzing
collective bargaining agreements, grievance settlements and arbitration
awards to formulate company policy for contract negotiations;
- Acting as
chief spokesperson in negotiations or at some other level of involvement
as determined by the member;
- Counseling
at all stages of the grievance and arbitration procedure, including
responding to grievances, selecting arbitrators and participating
in hearings.
- For non-union staff
the same services available to our Union-Free Members at no extra
cost

Our services
include:
- Conducting
Employee Opinion Surveys which highlight and provide solutions
to employee needs and perceptions that could result in third party
intervention;
- Advising
Management and Supervision on Progressive Employee Relations including
resource strategies and forward planning;
- Designing
organizational communication systems to enhance staff/management
relationships including the preparation of policies and procedures.
- Interpreting
and advising on Employment Standards, Human Rights and Labour
Relations Code issues and, where necessary, representing the Member
before these bodies.
- Devising
strategies to help the Employer remain Union-free.
